Hello, it's been a while!
I realize I made this blog, wrote one post, then abandoned it for 7 months... shame on me. It's just that junior year was so busy-- you know, buildin' up that college application --I hardly had any time! (....or maybe, just MAYBE, I might be a sporadic teenager who forgot she started a blog.... maybe.) Anyway, I'm back now and ready to commit!
It's summer, and although I'm reviewing for the CETs (College Entrance Tests), I do have more time to dedicate to this cranny of the internet.
OKAY, enough tittle-tattle. Now that I'm back in the game, I'll just give you an update on some of the things I've discovered this summer.
watercolour

I recently started watercolouring. I'm by no means great at it, but I'm a lot better than I was when I began. In the jar, you'll see all the brushes I acquired over the past 2 months. I don't use 70% of them, but I went a little crazy shopping for art materials. Of course, I was absolutely positive I would become a world renowned artist, and watercolour would be my passion, AND MY JAR LOOKS CUTER WHEN THERE ARE A TON OF BRUSHES IN IT, OKAY.
embroidery

I bet you all thought only grandmas embroidered, huh? Well then, you'd be wrong! This summer, I developed an appreciation for the art of embroidery. I don't know what I'm going to do with my fabric once I'm done with it, but it looks frickin' beautiful unfinished and gathering dust in my basket (only to be let out when I need to take a photo to put on my blog). Admittedly, the last time I picked up a needle was 2 weeks ago, but I was super enthusiastic about embroidery, for like, 2 days.
collecting lip colours

It all began with one shade from one brand, but then, I just HAD to have more from different brands! In the same shade! Granted, that's an exaggeration, they aren't all the same, but they're hard to tell apart. Despite knowing this, for some inexplicable reason, I want more. I'll probably be doing another blog post about them, because all kidding aside, lip colours are awesome.
So there you have it! Some of the things that have tickled my fancy this summer. I know I haven't gotten off on the best start, abandoning my blog for 7 months after the first post. I promise to do better this time! I've already got so many ideas, and I can't wait to put them to pixel! 'Til next time! (I assure you "next time" does not mean "after 7 months".)
